First, we will conduct a site visit. This involves a walk through of your property to determine the best suitable place to install the pod, hub or bespoke build. When it comes to the design options, it all starts with you. What do you want your garden space to look like? Consider what you will be using it for, and then we will start crafting your design.
Next, we review if the house requires any planning permission. Because all of our pods and hubs are designed within the permitted development criteria, 95% of the time no planning is required. If you need planning permission, we can help you with this.
After planning, we can then confirm the costs, which include preparing the area, pod or hub choice, and any extras required. After everything is agreed, normally the week prior to delivery, our team will secure the base area for the pod or hub. There are several methods for this depending on the location and the ground we are using. We will keep you informed every step of the way.
After we cleared the site and laid the foundations we will start to construct the following:
timber frame, insulation and sound proofing, windows and doors, and exterior cladding. Once these elements are complete we can work on the interior design and flooring,
electrics, lights and heat, decking and all of the other finishing touches.
After everything is installed you can sit back, relax and enjoy your new garden space. It is that simple. Plus, your Green Space team will provide you with general maintenance advice for keeping your pod or hub looking great for the future.
